What is this course about?
This full-time course provides pest control operators and
technicians in either the public or private sectors of the industry with the
essential knowledge required by professional pest controllers. The course covers
recognition and control of vertebrate and invertebrate public health pests, pest
proofing, health and safety, safe use and storage of pesticides.
Course location
Training is held in the relaxing surroundings of the DATAS Training Centre in
March, Cambridgeshire. It is a training centre approved by a number of national
and international awarding bodies. March is situated 34 miles north of
Cambridge, 20 minutes from the A1 and A14 and 5 miles from the A47. It is also
well served by rail from London, Birmingham, Peterborough, Stanstead Airport and
Norwich.

environmental health at a senior level.
